This small-cap construction company bags an order worth Rs 780.12 crore; shares gain over 2 per cent

On April 1, 2023, Dilip Buildcon Limited informed in the exchange filing that the company received the letter of acceptance (LOA) for HAM project on March 31, 2023, from the National Highways Authority of India. The order includes the development of a six-lane access-controlled greenfield highway from Audireddipalle to Mallapalle of Bengaluru-Vijayawada Economic Corridor on HAM Mode under Bharatmala Pariyojana Phase-I in the State of Andhra Pradesh. The project is worth Rs 780.12 crore with a completion period of 24 months. On March 27, 2023, the company was declared the lowest bidder for the project. 

Dilip Buildcon Limited, incorporated in 2006, is presently in the business of development of infrastructure facilities on an Engineering Procurement and Construction basis (EPC) and undertakes contracts from various Government and other parties and special purpose vehicles promoted by the company. 

Today, the stock opened at Rs 169.25, with a high and low of Rs 173.40 and Rs 169.25. The stock is currently trading at Rs 172.60, up by 2.16 per cent over its previous close of Rs 168.95.    

The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 317.35 and a 52-week low of Rs 165.45. The company has a ROCE of 3.16 per cent and an ROE of -14 per cent, with a market capitalisation of Rs 2,524 crore.
