Axis Bank - On Thursday, Axis Bank reported a 66.29 per cent jump in consolidated net profit for Q2FY23 at Rs 5,625.25 crore, owing to a substantial decrease in bad loan provisions and margin expansion. On a standalone basis, the bank reported a 70 per cent increase in its profit after tax for Q2FY23 period standing at Rs 5,329.77 crore. Reacting to the results, on Friday, the shares tumbled more than 9 per cent on an intraday basis.
Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services - Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services board approved the purchase of the remaining i.e. 20 per cent stake in Mahindra Insurance Brokers Limited, a subsidiary of the company from Inclusion Resources Private Limited. The shares of Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services slid into negative territory in the latter half of the trading session and ended almost 3 per cent lower.
Laurus Labs - Laurus Labs was one of the active stocks during Friday's trading session. The company posted a 15 per cent gain in its net profit for Q2FY23, which was recorded at Rs 232.8 crore as compared to Rs 201.9 crore. On the other hand, its revenue zoomed 30.9 per cent at Rs 1,575.9 crore in comparison to Rs 1,203.5 crore on a YoY basis.
