These stocks from S&P BSE 250 SmallCap space were trading in the green after strong demand from buyers.

The benchmark index S&P BSE 250 SmallCap Index opened on Monday at 3,810.90 and made its day high at 3,818.69, and it is currently trading in green with an up move by more than 0.05 per cent.   

From the same space, these are the top 3 companies that outperformed the benchmark index and were up by more than 5 per cent today.    

Shares of Sonata Software Limited were trading up by more than 6.5 per cent on BSE today. The scrip closed on Friday at Rs 680.75 and opened on Monday at Rs 684.10 a piece. Shares touched their 52-week high today at Rs 732.65 after the surge. The 52-week high of the stock stood at Rs 732.65, whereas the 52-week low is Rs 457.50. Presently, the promoters are holding a 28.17 per cent stake in the company and the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 26.63 per cent and 45.18 per cent, respectively.    

Another top player today is Cera Sanitaryware Limited. Shares were trading up by more than 5.9 per cent on BSE during the day. The stock opened at Rs 6,014.95 a piece and touched its 52-week high today at Rs 6,347.15. The 52-week high of Cera Sanitaryware Limited is at Rs 6,347.15, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 3,518.60. The promoters are holding around 54.48 per cent stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 26.89 per cent and 18.64 per cent, respectively.    

One more top gainer today which shot up by 6 per cent is Equitas Small Finance Bank Limited. The stock opened at Rs 59.80 and touched its day high at Rs 62.50. On Friday, the shares closed at Rs 58.60 a piece. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 63.90, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 37.50. Currently, the promoters are holding about 74.48 per cent stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 19.42 per cent and 6.09 per cent, respectively.
