These stocks from S&P BSE 250 SmallCap space were trading in the green after strong demand from buyers.

The benchmark index S&P BSE 250 SmallCap Index opened on Monday at 3,727.63 and made its day high at 3,781.80 and is currently trading down by 0.04 per cent.  

From the same space, these are the top 3 companies that outperformed the benchmark index and were up by more than 5 per cent today.   

Shares of Easy Trip Planners Limited were trading up by more than 7.2 per cent on BSE today. The scrip closed on Friday at Rs 49.10 and opened on Monday at Rs 49.60 a piece. Shares touched their day high at Rs 53.35 after the surge. The 52-week high of the stock stood at Rs 73.50, whereas the 52-week low is Rs 30.97. Presently the promoters are holding a 74.90 per cent stake in the company and the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 5.23 per cent and 19.97 per cent, respectively.   

Another top player today is Intellect Design Arena Limited. Shares were trading up by more than 6.4 per cent on BSE during the day. The stock opened at Rs 402 a piece and touched its day high at Rs 429.90. The 52-week high of Intellect Design Arena Limited is at Rs 986.00, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 393.80. The promoters are holding around 30.64 per cent stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 26.65 per cent and 42.71 per cent, respectively.   

One more top gainer today which shot up by over 5 per cent is Sterlite Technologies Limited. The stock opened at Rs 175.40 and touched its day high at Rs 185.65. On Friday, the shares closed at Rs 175.35 a piece. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 242.90, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 128.60. Currently, the promoters are holding about 54.10 per cent stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 10.74 per cent and 35.16 per cent, respectively.
