Mutual funds being institutional investors have some influence over the stock. So following are the list of stocks that witnessed selling pressure from the fund manager for the month of December 2018.

So if we look at the above data then we can say that Gail (India) saw the highest selling pressure with approx. sell value of Rs. 721.86 crore, followed by Bharat Financial Inclusion and Capital First with approx. sell value of Rs. 578.79 crore and Rs. 571.88 crore, respectively. If we look sectorwise, then the financial sector witnessed the highest selling pressure which accounts for 21.62 per cent of the total approx. sell value followed by automobile and ancillaries and energy sectors which accounted for 18.27 per cent and 12.14 per cent of the total approx. sell value. Now if we look from the market capitalization point of view then large-cap witnessed the highest selling pressure with approx. sell value of Rs. 6,440 crore or 61.82 per cent followed by mid-cap and small-cap with approx. sell value of Rs. 2,296.63 crore or 22.04 per cent and Rs. 1,681.59 crore or 16.14 per cent, respectively.
 
Now if we look at the net buy or sell in the month of December 2018 sectorwise then energy, financial and health care saw the highest net buy with approx. net buy value of Rs. 12,058 crore, 4,412.73 crore and 925.73 crore, respectively. If we talk about the highest net sales then automobile and ancillaries, metals and logistics saw the highest net sales with approx. net sell value of Rs. 1,016.62 crore, 553.20 crore and 206.20 crore, respectively.
