Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 22.74 points or 0.04 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index strengthened to 59,967.89, signifying a gain of 125.68 points or 0.21 per cent.  

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals shined 0.3 per cent, power strengthened by 0.2 per cent while auto surged 0.3 per cent.  

Meanwhile, Aarti Drugs Ltd, Repco Home Finance Ltd, and Techno Electric & Engineering Company Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.   

Aarti Drugs Ltd, an S&P BSE 500 company, rallied 15.41 per cent to trade at Rs 488.70 apiece. The company has made no significant announcement lately. Hence, the rally in its share price could be purely driven by the market forces.   

Repco Home Finance Ltd, an S&P BSE Smallcap company, surged 14.80 per cent to trade at Rs 204 apiece. The company reported its results for the quarter ending June 2022 last Friday. Besides that, the company has made no significant announcement.   

Techno Electric & Engineering Company Ltd, another S&P BSE Smallcap company, climbed 5.41 per cent to trade at Rs 295 apiece. On Tuesday, after the market hours, the company reported that it has secured prestigious new orders for flue-gas desulphurisation (FGD), totalling Rs 1,455 crore.
