Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 280.02 points or 0.45 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index was trading flat at the level of 61,333.68.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals were down by 0.13 per cent, power weakened by 0.14 per cent whereas auto was trading flat.

Meanwhile, Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Limited, Dilip Buildcon Ltd and National Fertilizers Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. Barring Dilip Buildcon Ltd, the other two companies have not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in their share prices could be driven purely by the market forces.  

Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar Limited, an S&P BSE SmallCap company, surged 6.52 per cent to trade at Rs 18.30 apiece.

Dilip Buildcon Ltd, rallied 6.46 per cent to trade at Rs 244 apiece. On Saturday, the company announced that it has received a letter of acceptance (LOA) for a new HAM project in the state of Karnataka. This order is worth Rs 1589 crore. The company also received a letter of acceptance (LOA) for a new HAM project worth Rs 1955 crore in the state of Chhattisgarh.

National Fertilizers Ltd, another S&P BSE SmallCap company, climbed 5.01 per cent to trade at Rs 79.65 apiece.
