Adani Enterprises Ltd, an S&P BSE 100 company, rallied 10 per cent to trade at Rs 2341.55 apiece. This rally comes after an announcement by the company. As per the exchange filing, the Board of Adani Enterprises Ltd., (AEL) decided not to go-ahead with the fully subscribed Follow-on Public Offer (FPO).

The filing said that given the unprecedented situation and the current market volatility, the company aims to protect the interest of its investing community by returning the FPO proceeds and withdraws the completed transaction.

Brightcom Group Ltd, another S&P BSE 500 company, climbed 7.13 per cent to trade at Rs 28.55 apiece. This surge comes after Brightcom and Consumable, Inc, USA, signed a definitive agreement to form a joint venture to offer Audio Advertising Solutions. The transaction is expected to significantly benefit Brightcom's standalone (parent) numbers while offering a capital-light growth model for the group.
