Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 173.60 points or 0.27 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index further strengthened stood at 65,204.77 signifying a gain of 208.17 points or 0.32 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.38 per cent, power gained 0.28 and auto rose by 0.50 per cent.

Meanwhile, Gokaldas Exports Ltd, CarTrade Tech Ltd and Kama Holdings Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

Gokaldas Exports Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 6.26 per cent to trade at Rs 652.00 apiece.  The stock rallied as the company through its wholly owned subsidiaries entered into an agreement to acquire Atraco Group (Atraco), an apparel manufacturer for USD 55 million.

CarTrade Tech Ltd rallied 4.92 per cent to trade at Rs 548.65 apiece.  The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.

Kama Holdings Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 3.59 per cent to trade at Rs 13999.00 apiece. The stock rallied after the company recently announced a board meeting to consider issuance of bonus shares subject to approval by the shareholders of the company to be held on Friday, September 1, 2023.
