Sensex is trading with some losses as of 11.04 am. It has lost 238 points to trade at a level of 59,218. Midcap index too fell merely by 42 points and is now trading at a level of 25,735. On the other hand, Smallcap index is currently trading at a level of 29,268, showing a gain of 29 points.
Currently trading at a level of 17,643, Nifty 50 index weakened 75 points from its previous close. Bank Nifty also plunged 371 points and is currently trading at 40,831.
On September 21, the foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) turned out to be net sellers of shares worth Rs 461.04 crore. Besides, domestic institutional investors (DIIs) turned out to be net buyers of shares worth Rs 538.53 crore.
