Amid a volatile day for the market, the benchmark indices closed the trading session on a lower note with Sensex being down 151.60 points or 0.25 per cent at 61,033.55 level and Nifty declining 45.80 points or 0.25 per cent at 18,157 level. 

On November 9, the BSE PSU Index declined 0.047 per cent or 4.66 points and closed at 9860.73 however these PSU stocks ended in green

NSE Nifty 50 index plunged 0.25 per cent to close below 18,200 level while Sensex slipped 150 points. Nifty Midcap and Nifty Smallcap closed lower by 0.74 per cent and 0.56 per cent respectively.
