Shares of Zomato Ltd  logged its 52-week low last week on  July 27 at Rs 40.55, was the biggest gainer in the "A" Group in today’s session. 

BSE Smallcap index outperformed broader markets to close at 27,549.73, up by 0.34 per cent.

Since then, its stock prices crashed nearly 18 per cent from the high of June 20, 2022, and made a low of Rs 34.75. However, here comes some relief for the shareholders of SpiceJet as its stock price has rebounded sharply from the lower levels and soared 10 per cent on Tuesday.   

Indices closed flat amid volatility. Nifty hit a high of 17,390 but in the last half an hour, witnessed profit booking. The benchmark index closed higher by 5 points at 17,345 while Sensex gained 20 points.

On Tuesday, the share price of ITC jumped nearly 3 per cent to a new 52-week high of Rs 316.65 a piece on BSE, after its consolidated net profit rose 33.46 per cent on a YoY basis to Rs 4,462.25 crore in April-June 2022 quarter. 

Considering the yearly performance, the net profit of company soared 730.8 per cent to Rs 8.64 crore as against Rs 1.04 crore during the previous year ended in March 2021.

At 11 am on Tuesday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading marginally lower thereby, ending their consecutive gaining streak in the past five sessions.
