As a part of transformation to a professionally run institution with strong corporate governance reflecting an independent corporate entity, the company rechristened its name to Star Housing Finance Limited.

Mahanadi Coalfields Limited and the PSU company have signed a memorandum of understanding.  

On Tuesday, the equity markets saw a highly volatile session and the benchmark indices ended lower with Nifty settling below 17,000 mark.

BSE Small-cap index recorded losses of 1.70 per cent closing at 28,728.32.

Indices are trading higher amid volatility. Nifty has gained about a quarter per cent while Sensex climbed around 100 points.
