Considering the fact that Nifty has witnessed a breakout of the descending channel and broad-based buying on Friday, we expect momentum to continue in the coming trading sessions. Hence, we have shortlisted a few stocks based on the T20 breakout system.  

The Indian indices closed 2021 on a good note. BSE Sensex closed at 58,253.82 levels, soaring 459 points. Also, Nifty 50 index was seen jumping by over 150 points at the levels of 17,354.05. The top gainers of Nifty 50 index were Hindalco, Titan, UltraTech Cement, Tata Motors, and Kotak Mahindra Bank. The stocks that were seen in red today include NTPC, Cipla, Power Grid Corporation of India, and SBI Life. 

Amid the IPO frenzy, the stock market regulator - Security Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has come up with some changes in the rules for IPO and its preferential share allotment.

On Friday, benchmark Indices ended this year on a positive note today with Nifty closing higher 0.87 per cent and Sensex closing at 0.80 per cent up. Strong buying was seen in auto, metal and realty stocks. Textile stocks gained on Friday post the announcement of a deferred GST hike. 

Activity in the F&O market for the weekly expiry on January 6, 2022, shows that the trading range has moved up.  

The acquisition will strengthen Tech Mahindra’s capabilities in Digital Experience Solutions: Learning & development, marketing, instructional design; Engineering: Cloud & automation, BI & analytics, and technical support services. 

BSE Small-cap index outperformed broader markets by climbing 1.16 per cent i.e. 336.72 points to close at 29,457.56.  

Nifty surged about 0.87 per cent at the end of the day while Sensex gained over 350 points. The broader indices too ended in the green.
