The Nifty reversed its losses of previous day to close in green on Thursday. Barring BSE Auto Index, all the sectoral indices closed in green with BSE IT index, BSE Realty index and BSE FMCG index catching investors’ attention.

Mindtree was the top performing IT stock as it gained by more than 25 per cent followed by Tech Mahindra (+18 per cent) and TCS (+15 per cent) when Nifty climbed from 16k to 17k.

Bajaj Finserv is the top Nifty gainer, jumping higher by more than 19 per cent, during this period between August 3 to August 31 where the Nifty jumped from 16k to 17k. Bajaj Finance gained by more than 18 per cent during the similar period.
