Among the sectoral indices, defensives are yet again seen holding the markets steady with a trio of Nifty FMCG, Pharma & IT leading from the front. Nifty Metal is the worst performing sectoral indices.   

BLS International’s subsidiary, Starfin India Pvt Ltd has secured a contract to support the financial inclusion mission of the Indian Government with Bank of Baroda. As per the contract, StarFin has become the official National Business Correspondent (BC) and will offer last-mile banking services in urban as well as rural areas across the country. 

The shares of Textile companies are seen outperforming on Wednesday. One textile stock that is buzzing on bourses is AYM Syntex. The share price of AYM Syntex has jumped higher by more than 6 per cent in Wednesday, on an intraday basis.   

Several penny stocks were seen outperforming on Tuesday with the top gainers soaring by more than 9 per cent on closing basis. The volumes also were supporting the price rise. 

Several low priced stocks were seen outperforming the markets on Tuesday tradings session even as the frontline indices made their life highs. BSE IT Index, BSE Healthcare Index and BSE FMCG index were seen outperforming on Tuesday. The defensives outperformed while cyclicals such as Metals slipped on the closing basis. 

The share price of Tanfac Industries Ltd was seen trading at life highs on Tuesday trading session even as the frontline indices make fresh all-time highs for themselves. 

The DJIA is down by more than 0.7 per cent, NASDAQ slips by more than 1 per cent while S&P 500 drops by 0.66 per cent on Tuesday, on an intraday basis. The markets may trade with some caution on Wednesday.  

Few of the low-priced stocks saw heavy buying in Tuesday trading session with several low-priced stocks locked in the upper circuit. 

The risk on mood is seen in the market and several penny stocks are seen trading with gains. Some of the penny stocks have crossed the 30D Moving Average in recent trading sessions and are seen trading with optimism. 

Sanofi India share price gained by more than 3.8 per cent on Tuesday trading session. The stock was trading with bullishness even as a Golden Crossover was seen in the August 16, trading session.
