The key equity indices continued to trade with major gains in the mid-afternoon trade, tracking strong global cues.

The major equity benchmarks are significantly up during the early trade on the back of optimistic global indications. 

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 398.56 points or 0.67 per cent. 

On the other hand, S&P BSE Smallcap index dropped mere 54 points and trades at 29,152.99. 

The benchmark equity indices are trading with decent gains in the morning trade.
