However, with the recent correction, which is nearly about 7 per cent from its all-time high levels of 18,604.45, we believe that the index has witnessed three major corrections since March 2020 lows that measured an average of 9 per cent. So, the current fall should be anchored around the 100-DMA.

F&O cues are suggesting 18,000 will continue to act as a strong resistance this week for Nifty 50.

The stock gained nearly 3 per cent and closed above the 47 mark. The bulk of the gains was witnessed in the last hour of the trade along with a mammoth jump in the volumes as well.   

Given the fact that the market made a strong recovery from the lower levels, it would be interesting to know which stocks have witnessed recovery from the day’s low.
