Sobha Limited announced its fourth quarter business update for FY19, on Monday. The company clocked a sales volume of 1,129,268 square feet in Q4FY19 worth Rs. 920.5 crore. The sales value for the quarter was up by nearly 13.3 per cent from the corresponding quarter of the previous year. 

JSW Steel reported a crude steel production of 16.69 million tons (MT) in FY19, registering a growth of 3 per cent over the corresponding period of the previous year. With this, the company achieved 99.6 per cent of its production guidance of 16.75 Million tonnes, given at the start of FY19.

Tata Steel will take possession of Usha Martin’s Jamshedpur steel unit on Tuesday. This is Tata Steel’s second acquisition within a year after its takeover of Bhushan Steel via the NCLT process in April 2018. Tata Sponge will serve as the vehicle for the acquisition of the one million tonne steel business for which it issued preference shares to Tata Steel. The deal was signed in September last year for a consideration of Rs. 4,600 crore.
