Bank of Baroda's board has approved the three-way merger with share swap ratio that marginally positive to the bank. The Central Cabinet approved the first-ever three bank merger deal, with this Vijaya Bank and Dena Bank will merger into Bank of Baroda (BoB).

Overall volumes in futures & options currently stand at 1.96 crore contracts with a turnover of Rs. 11,39,551.71 crore.

Going ahead, the low of 10,735 is likely to act as a crucial support for the index. Stocks in news: Equitas Holdings, Asian Granito, Autoline Industries, Dena Bank, Vijaya Bank, Bank of Baroda, Ashok Leyland and Tata Power.

Indian markets may open flat to slightly higher on Thursday, tracking modest gains in other Asian markets. The SGX Nifty points to Nifty opening around the level of 10,861, up by 29 points. 

The stocks most likely to witness significant movement on the bourses on January 3, 2019 are PNB Housing Finance, Pennar Industries Limited and Pennar Engineered Building Systems, Vijaya Bank, Capacit’e Infraprojects and Kellton Tech Solutions.

The company announced the successful implementation of Optima, a cloud-based artificial intelligent-enabled IoT platform in the oil and gas industry. Kellton proprietary IoT Edge device Envision was used for this project.
