It has been a disappointing weekly expiry for Nifty as it slipped about a per cent. Moreover, Sensex tanked 569 points. 

Wednesday’s trading session turned out to be yet another disappointing day for the bulls as Nifty plunged 0.96 per cent and closed below 18,000

It was a disappointing second half as Nifty tumbled heavily towards the end and hit the day’s low at 18,087.

Nifty traded firmly in green in the second half of the session and closed above 18,300. In the end, it went up by 0.29 per cent while Sensex surged about 178 points.

Nifty ended flat on Friday while Sensex closed at 61,223. It was a volatile day as Nifty swung in both directions but settled near Thursday’s close.  

The stock has surged over 6 per cent today and recorded a huge volume in the process. It has performed phenomenally last year as it delivered over 175 per cent returns to its shareholders.

 Asian markets have opened higher on Thursday morning with SGX Nifty indicating a gap-up of about 120 points.
