Quarterly Results : Ambuja Cements posted stellar performance

Ambuja Cements reports its consolidated results for the quarter ended December 31, 2016 on Monday.

The company’s sales for this quarter, Q4FY16 came in at Rs. 4936 crore. This represents a 8.89 per cent sequential increase and 107.05 per cent YoY increase.

Operating profit (EBIT) for the recently concluded quarter amounted to Rs. 262.7 crore and the EBIT margin stood at 5.32 per cent.

In terms of the bottom-line, the company reported a PAT of Rs. 310.6 crore which represents a sequential QoQ increase of 19.83 per cent and a YoY increase of 179.82 per cent.
