Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals' declares Q4 results

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electrical Ltd., one of the major subsidiary of Crompton Greaves Ltd., on May 18 has declared its Q4FY16 results. The company for the March quarter has reported a net profit of Rs 66.61 crores. EBITDA for the period stands at Rs 127.15 crores. Consolidated total income from operations stands at Rs 101.63 crores for the quarter, as against Rs 82.79 crores for the adjacent quarter. Total income reported has been positive this quarter, whereas in the last quarter of the previous fiscal the figures were negative.

On a YoY basis, net profits stand at Rs 105.19 crores. EBITDA stands at Rs 209.48 crores. Consolidated total income for the period stands at Rs 2635.24 crores.

The YoY results of the company cannot be compared with the previous fiscal because recently it has demerged itself from its parent company. The company has listed itself with the BSE earlier this month.

Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals’ parent company is a Indian multinational company engaged in design, manufacturing, and marketing of products related to power generation, transmission, and distribution, and is based in Mumbai. It is part of Avantha Group.

The shares on the bourses on Thursday  are trading at Rs 143.00, down by 2 per cent.
