Infosys partners with largest Dutch Bank

Infosys has entered into a strategic partnership with ABN AMRO. Shares of Infosys rose almost 2 per cent on an intraday basis. 

ABN AMRO is the third largest bank in the Netherlands. This partnership would strengthen Infosys’ position as a leading technology and business process management provider across the mortgage services value chain, improving the experience and operational efficiencies and would further enhance the company’s strategy to assist clients to navigate their next digital transformation.

 

According to the partnership, ABN AMRO will continue to hold 25 per cent of the shareholding while Infosys will acquire 75 per cent of the shareholding in Stater N.V., a wholly-owned subsidiary of ABN AMRO Bank N.V., that offers pure-play, end-to-end mortgage administration services in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.

 

Infosys is a global leader in technology services and consulting. The company enables clients in 45 countries to create and execute strategies for their digital transformation.

 

The shares of Infosys opened at Rs. 730 as against Wednesday’s close of Rs 729.05 per shares on the BSE. At closing, the shares were trading at Rs. 739.4, up by 1.42 per cent. The intraday high recorded was Rs. 745 and intraday low was Rs. 730. The 52-week high and low was seen at Rs 771.15 and Rs. 549.50, respectively.
