At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 127.41 points or 0.15 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.42 per cent, power zoomed by 0.27 per cent, and auto surged by 0.20 per cent.

Meanwhile, Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd, Infibeam Avenues Ltd, and Dodla Dairy Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 6.69 per cent to trade at Rs 185.05 apiece. Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd has received a Letter of Intent from CAMALCO SA., Cameroon for an order worth USD 62.24 million (approx. Rs 535 crore). The order includes manufacturing and supply of 560 open-top wagons worth USD 32.76 million (Rs 282 crore) and a 20-year maintenance contract valued at USD 29.48 million (Rs 253 crore). The deal also includes a provision for an additional order of 1,040 wagons over the next five years.
Infibeam Avenues Ltd, an S&P BSE company, rose 5.60 per cent to trade at Rs 19.99 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
