Q3FY17 Results: T D power systems

T D power systems Ltd Ltd. reported its results for the quarter ended December 31, 2016, today. The consolidated numbers for the quarter were largely subdued.

The company's total sales for Q3FY17 were reported at Rs 64.08 crore, which represents a 39.44 per cent sequential decline and 43.2 per cent YoY decline.

Its operating loss (EBIT) for the quarter amounted to Rs -12.95 crore.

The company reported net loss of Rs -11.62 crore, representing a sequential QoQ decline of 125.45 per cent.

The company's stock opened t Rs 181.25 on the BSE and rose marginally to close at Rs180.20.
 
TD Power Systems Ltd is engaged in the manufacture of AC generators with output capacity in the range of 1 MW to 52 MW for prime movers, such as steam turbine generators, horizontal hydro generators, vertical hydro generators, diesel engine generators, wind turbine generators, gas engine generators, gas turbine generators, special applications generators, high voltage motors and generators for geo-thermal and solar thermal applications.
