ITD Cementation Bags Orders Worth Rs 1,066 crore 


Construction company, ITD Cementation India has bagged orders worth Rs 1,066 crore from Airport Authority of India, Vizhinjam Port, Mumbai Metro and Rail Vikas Nigam. 

These orders are for construction of new integrated passenger terminal building and associated facilities at Pune Airport, construction of breakwater for Vizhinjam Port, Improving Capacity Utilisation of OR-I & OR-II Berths for Visakhapatnam Port Trust, Ballastless track work in mainline for Line-7 Corridor (Andheri to Dahisar) and Construction of Adits and Tunnels in connection with the new single broadgauge rail link between Rishikesh and Karanprayag. 

Besides, in addition to these orders, the company has received orders worth Rs 845 crore in September 2018. The company’s total order book as on June 30, 2018, was at Rs 9,055.5 crore, which is executable over a period of 30 months. Recent order win and order backlog translates to a book-to-bill ratio of 4.6x which gives strong revenue visibility in the upcoming years. 

HFCL Bags Advance Purchase Order For Rs 366.36 Crore From BSNL 


Himachal Futuristic Communications (HFCL), telecom network turnkey implementation company announced that it has received an Advance Purchase Order worth approximately Rs 366.36 crore from Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL), New Delhi. 

HFCL in a press release informed that it received an advance order from BSNL for the survey, procurement, supply, trenching, laying, installation, testing and maintenance of optical fibre cables, accessories and GPON equipment in the State of Assam under BharatNet Phase-II Network of Government of India under Package AS-1. The contract also includes Operation and Maintenance Services for a period of seven years after the warranty of one year. 

BharatNet Programme forms one of the Key Pillars of Digital India Program. It is a project of national importance, envisage to connect and provide broadband connectivity at around 2,50,500 Gram Panchayats in the country. Under this package, around 601 Gram Panchayats in 58 Blocks will get broadband connectivity. 

Hero MotoCorp Launches Destini 125cc Scooter 

Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has launched the new Destini 125 scooter, on Monday. This powerful scooter aims to fortify company’s presence in the fast growing 125cc scooter segment. 

This new scooter will be available from Tuesday across Hero dealerships in the Delhi-NCR region, at an attractive price of Rs 54,650 (Ex-showroom) for the Lx variant and Rs 57,500 (Ex- showroom) for the Vx variant. 

The retail sales in other markets across India will commence over the next three to four weeks. 

The new Destini 125 is India’s first and only scooter in India to feature the highly efficient idle start-stop-system based on Hero’s revolutionary i3S technology. 

Some of the specifications of Destini 125 includes power output of 8.7 bhp at 6,750 rpm and maximum torque of 10.2 Nm at 5,000 rpm. The powertrain offers 17 per cent higher torque and 9 per cent higher power than the existing 110cc scooter. A Digital-analog Speedometer, Side Stand Indicator and Service Due Reminder would assure a hassle-free ride. The style elements include metal body with a bold premium chrome chest, signature tail lamp & winkers, side chrome garnishes, stylish cast wheels, new body color mirrors and a dual tone seat cover. The scooter will be available in four premium metallic colors – Noble Red, Chestnut Bronze, Panther Black and Pearl Silver White. 

TCS Launches Payment Solution For Banks 


IT giant TCS released TCS BaNCS for payments V12 at SIBOS 2018 which will enable banks to unleash innovation, speed and transparency. TCS BaNCS is one of the few applications certified on gpi and hence TCS customers who already avail the SWIFT gpi option will receive payments at a greater speed and can maintain end-to-end tracking. SWIFT gpi also holds the potential of transforming cross-border payments. All-in-all, banks would be able to cater to customer demands for better payments, can focus on developing new business models and make themselves less exposed to disintermediation. 

TCS BaNCS is ISO20022 standard certified and allows high rates of Straight Through Processing. It supports the clearing of payments across countries and is market ready for both domestic and international transfers under real-time and SWIFT gpi payments, respectively 

Bhageria Industries To Incur Capex of Rs 100 crore 

Bhageria Industries to incur capex of around Rs 100 crore for backward integration into manufacturing of sulphuric acid at Tarapur, Boisar. The company would incur this capex over the next three years and will be funded through internal accruals. The company has healthy balance sheet with D/E of 0.3x while its cash and bank balance on September 2018 end stands at Rs 32.37 crore. 

The company stated that is has received consent from Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB) for this expansion. With this capex company will add Sulphuric acid & derivatives capacity of 150 TPD, 25 per cent oleum capacity of 10 TPD, 65 per cent oleum capacity of 30 TPD and Chloro Sulphuric Acid capacity of 30 TPD. 

Besides, for expansion of chemical business it has acquired 3.4 acres of land at GIDC, Vapi, Gujarat. In terms of financials, in Q2FY19 the company reported stellar performance, its net profit during the quarter jumped to Rs 28.2 crore from Rs 10.6 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year. While its revenue in the quarter surged 35 per cent yoy to Rs 121.6 crore. 

Ahluwalia Contracts Wins Rs 538.76 crore, Share Drops 

Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Limited has announced that the company has been awarded Rs 538.76 crore for a project in Lucknow. Shares of the company dipped below 3 per cent.

The company has been awarded the project from NBCC India for the construction and development or re-development of the Charbagh Railway Station at Lucknow, UP. Ahluwalia has received a total order inflow of Rs 2,575.33 crore in the Financial year 2018-19.

Tejas Networks wins Rs 111 crore naval order from Sterlite Tech 

The company has bagged a purchase order of Rs 111 crore for supply of country-wide next generation digital network for the Indian Navy's communication grid. 

The order consists of supplying DWDM systems and high-performance Layer-3 Multi Gigabit Ethernet switches, on a pan-India basis for the naval network. 

Sterlite Technologies has been awarded a long-term contract for design, execution and maintenance of Indian Navy’s Digital Network. Tejas Network will work as a technology partner for providing the state-of-the-art terabit capacity for the network which will be highly secure and scalable. 

Tejas Networks is a major OEM company that develops and manufactures world-class optical and data networking equipments for telecoms, ISPs, utilities, government and defence organisations in Indian and aboard.
