India Cares, a friend to CSOs, supports Civil Society Organisations (CSO/NGOs) in developing their skills to raise awareness about their work, communicate their transparency and impact on the society - thus motivating individuals, companies and groups to be involved in the cause. "Having spent over a dozen years in the social sector, the dedication of CSOs to serve the community is not fading, there are younger people wanting to get involved in bringing about change. The enthusiasm and drive of individuals working for various causes, despite the tough demands and conditions in our society is the driving factor for India Cares. The board and the team come together to get the best possible support and impact to help small and medium organisations across the country. Annually, 250+ CSOs associate with us, we want to double this number at the earliest, do join us in lending a hand to strengthen the social sector in building a society we all wish to live in," said Meena Dave, CEO, India Cares.

In 2000, a few passionate individuals in Bengaluru came together with a motto to help CSOs with skill building, opportunities to raise funds, connect individuals and companies wishing to get engaged with the sector. We registered as a trust in the year 2008 and became the Philanthropy Partner of the annual TCS World 10K run in Bengaluru. We actively supported various initiatives associated with the Daan Utsav (India's Joy of Giving) festival. The year 2014 saw an expansion of our services to Delhi and the NCR region through Airtel Delhi Half Marathon as the Philanthropy Partner of the event.
