Vakrangee rocks on Dalal Street after Q1FY17

Vakrangee has declared its Q1FY17 results on August 27. The company’s revenue has increased by 30.3 per cent to Rs 918 crore as compared to same period in previous financial year. Its EBIDTA too has risen by 16.5 per cent to Rs 222 crore in Q1FY17 on a yearly basis. Vakrangee’s EBITDA margin has contracted by 290 basis points to 24.1 per cent in Q1FY17 as compared to same period in previous fiscal. The company’s PAT also has boosted by 40 per cent to Rs 121.4 crore in Q1FY17 on a yearly basis. Its PAT margin has expanded by 90 basis points to 13.2 per cent in Q1FY17 as compared to same period in previous financial year.

As in Q1FY17, total number of Vakrangee Kendra outlets increased to 21820 outlets. On the segmental revenue front, Vakrangee earned 60.01 per cent from Vakrangee Kendra business and 39.99 per cent from e-governance during Q1FY17.

The share price of Vakrangee has increased by 4.92 per cent on bourses in early trades; and is trading at Rs 198.65 on an intraday basis.
