Liqour stocks get high on bourses

Liquor stocks are buzzing on bourses with the stocks in the sector rallying up impressively. 

United Breweries at 921 up by 2.93 per cent (Rs 26.45), UB Holdings at Rs 46.60 up by 9.91 per cent (Rs 4.20), Mc Dowell Holdings at 40.30  up by 9.36 per cent (Rs 3.35), Globus Spirits at 113.20 up by 8.83 per cent (Rs 9), Tilaknagar Industries at 18.60 up by 4.20 per cent (Rs 0.75) and United Spirits at 2427.05 up by 5.21 per cent (Rs 120.80) are all indicating a secular trend in the liquor sector stocks. There is a visible price volume breakout in these liquor stocks.

Globus spirits has already announced its plan to open facilities in West Bengal and Bihar due to which the stock has been rising consistently for past 1 year.

Broader markets are trading in green with Sensex up by almost 71 points at 28366 levels on Thursday.
