Mid-market commentary September 30, 2016
The Indian markets are flattish at mid-market session. Market witnessed some stock specific action. The Nifty has seen some sideways move, up by 2 points at 8600 and the Sensex is up by 5 points at 27830.
The advance–decline ratio ended on the positive side in midsession. On the NSE, 29 shares are trading in green, while 21 shares are trading in red.
Petronet LNG: According to media reports, French company Engie has placed its 10 per cent stake valued around Rs 2500 crore in Petronet LNG.
Inox Leisure: The company has commenced the commercial operations of a Multiplex Cinema Theatre, taken on License basis, and located at Rangoli Mall, hawda with effect from September 30, 2016.
Cadila Healthcare: Cadila Healthcare and Medicines has signed a joint venture to develop a potential new antimalarial drug.
Alkem Laboratories:Alkem Laboratories has tumbled about 8 per cent on bourses after 13 observations from USFDA for Daman unit of company.
HCL Technologies: Everest Group names HCL Tehnologies as a leader for IT outsourcing in global capital markets.
