Kalpataru Power escalates post order wins
Kalpataru Power Transmission was buzzing on the bourses on Wednesday as the company won orders worth Rs. 875 crore.
The company has secured new orders in both domestic and international markets. The company has received two orders worth Rs. 278 crore for design, supply and construction of transmission lines in India. While three orders amounting to Rs. 597 crore for design, supply and construction of transmission lines were bagged in Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Ivory Coast, said the company in a regulatory filing. The company has received orders of Rs. 5,900 crore till date in the current financial year.
Kalpataru Power Transmission Limited is engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracting company manufacturing metal frameworks for construction and parts such as towers, masts, trusses and bridges.
At 10:00 hours, Kalpataru Power was trading at Rs. 453 per share, up Rs 12.75 or 2.90 per cent on the NSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 450 and touched a high and low of Rs. 450 and Rs. 463.70, respectively. The stock attracted a traded volume of 1,22,085 shares on NSE.
