Q4 results: Sharda Cropchem PAT falls 1.6%, stock slips over 7%

Sharda Cropchem Ltd. reported its results for the quarter ended March 31, 2017. Total sales for this quarter, Q3FY17, came in at Rs. 594.9 crores. This represents a 144.92 per cent sequential increase and 13.66 per cent YoY increase.

Operating profit (EBIT) for the recently concluded quarter amounted to Rs. 143.23 crore and the EBIT margin stood at 24.08 per cent.

In terms of the bottom-line, the company reported a PAT figure of Rs. 98.7 crore which represents a sequential QoQ increase of 460.8 per cent and a YoY decline of 1.6 per cent.

The stock of the company tumbled sharply post results. The stock opened with a gap-down at 541.5 and is currently trading at 505.9 registering 7% decline. The stock hit intraday low of Rs 499.

Sharda Cropchem is a Company engaged in manufacturing of Pesticides & Agro Chemicals. Company manufactures and markets range of formulations and generic active ingredients.
