Dredging Corp may get work order from Mumbai Port soon
Dredging Corporation of India (DCI) has informed that it is expecting the work order of maintenance dredging from Mumbai Port Trust (MbPT) soon.
DCI had participated in the tender invited by the MbPT for maintenance dredging work for three years from 2017-18.
The project involves dredging of around 11 million Cum at an estimated cost of Rs 141.06 crore for three years, the company said in a BSE filing post market hour on Tuesday.
It also said that DCI stood L1 in a stiff competition with an international company at a cost of Rs 83.998 crore, adding that the company re-captured the maintenance dredging work at Mumbai Port after almost a decade.
Dredging Corporation of India was trading at Rs 624, up by Rs 3.35 or 0.54% as at 1012 hours on Wednesday, on the BSE.
