Cyient joins hands with Microsoft to accelerate IoT Solutions

The shares of Cyient Limited posted a strong intraday rally on Thursday after the company announced that it has joined Microsoft Azure Certified for internet of things (IoT) thereby, ensuring its customers with IoT solutions along with, hardware and software that has been pre-tested and verified to work with Microsoft Azure loT services.

Cyient loT Edge Gateway 5,400, the flagship product in the company's family of IoT gateways, is Microsoft Azure Certified for IoT.

Since IoT projects are complex and take a long time to implement, customers often find that choosing and connecting with the right set of devices can be time-consuming. In order to jumpstart their IoT projects, customers look for certified devices and platforms that are tested for readiness, compatibility and usability with Microsoft Azure loT Suite. Joining Microsoft Azure Certified for IoT program validates Cyient's ability to accelerate IoT deployments for customers and ensure seamless integration from the edge to the cloud.  

Cyient Limited offers information technology and engineering services. It offers data transformation, analytics, networks and operations as well as product and process engineering. 

On Thursday, the stock of the company closed at Rs 277.50, up by 8.40 per cent or Rs 21.50 per share. The 52-week high is recorded at Rs 557 and the 52-week low is Rs 184.15 on BSE.
