Tata Elxsi opens Global Engineering Centre with Schaeffler Technologies
Tata Elxsi, a global design and technology services company, announced the opening of a Global Engineering Centre (GEC) with Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG, a world leader in providing mechatronics solutions for the transportation industry. Schaeffler Group is a global supplier to the automotive and industrial sectors.
Tata Elxsi has been selected as the global engineering services partner by Schaeffler, where GEC is part of a strategic multi-year engineering services engagement. The GEC center in Pune will focus on mechatronics, digital & embedded technologies in line with Schaeffler’s vision for driving ‘mobility for tomorrow’. This centre will be pivotal to help accelerate innovation and drive digital transformation and growth for Schaeffler’s mechatronics business.
Embedded product design contributed the largest in the latest quarterly revenue (89.9 per cent), followed by industrial design & visualisation (7.5 per cent) and system integration & support (2.6 per cent).
The stock closed at 1184.90, down by 1.65 per cent or Rs 19.85 per share. The intraday high is Rs 1200 and the intraday low is Rs 1160.80. The 52-week high is 1330, while its 52-week low is 501 on BSE.
