Asian Granito India rises over 2 per cent on new product launch
On Tuesday, the company announced its launch of AGL Tuffguard anti-bacterial tile (TAB), which is found to be 99 per cent effective.
In a move to create living and business spaces safer, beautiful & hygienic than ever, the company has launched TAB. These tiles are successfully under the protocol of JIS Z 2801:2010 anti-bacterial testing and are found to be 99 per cent effective against the growth of bacterial & germs due to its tuff guard plus anti-bacterial glazing made up of silver ions. The company has launched this unique product in the size of 600 mm x 600 mm in the Indian market and expects a good response from the export market.
Apart from the anti-bacterial feature, the tiles have got other features such as anti-skid surfaces, stain, and high abrasion resistance, scratch resistance, durable body, chemical & alkaline resistance thus, making it ideal for high traffic areas such as hospitals, schools, restaurant, hotels, gyms, clubs, clinics, and labs. It is available in 25 plus designs and matte finish.
The shares of the company reacted positively and were up by more than 2 per cent in the morning hours. At 2.20 pm on Tuesday, they were trading at a price of Rs 191.90 on NSE, which is 0.81 per cent above its previous closing price.
