RattanIndia backed Revolt closes vehicle booking due to high demand

RattanIndia Enterprises Ltd backed Revolt Intellicorp Pvt Ltd today announced that it has closed bookings for new customers for its new EV bike as they have been overbooked within few days of getting investment from RattanIndia.

Revolt has stopped taking any fresh bookings on its website after receiving an overwhelming response from the consumers for its electric vehicles (EVs). The company will first cater to the confirmed orders, which have been received in large numbers from the six cities, where it is currently present. It will reopen the bookings after meeting and completing the current obligations of orders. The current production line of the company is situated in the auto hub of Manesar (Haryana).

Revolt comes in two variants, mainly RV 300 and RV 400. These bikes have a range of 150 kilometres (km) on a single charge with a top speed of 100 km/hr and a full battery charge time of 4 hours. The 3.24 kWh batteries come with a warranty of 1,50,000 km, which is the highest for any EV two-wheeler in the country. RattanIndia had recently entered in EV segment through investment in Revolt. Revolt bikes, currently on road, have clocked 18 million km while the company has been witnessing a surge in demand continuously.

At 12.33 pm on Thursday, the share price of RattanIndia Enterprises Ltd was trading 0.78 per cent down at Rs 11.42 on BSE.
