Overnight Digest: Watch out for these small caps on Thursday

Markets ended on a flat note on Wednesday, 8 September 2021. However, BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices gained 0.81 and 0.55 per cent respectively. Goldiam International, Filatex India, Arman Financial Services and Asian Granito are top small-cap gainers. While Karda Construction, Dish TV and Panacea Biotec are top losers.   

Following small-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Thursday:  

 Take Solutions – Navitas Life Sciences, a subsidiary of Take solutions has announced that it achieved its 200th customer win for its innovative Regulatory Technology, “pharmaREADY®” driving accelerated compliance and delivering first‐time‐right submissions. 

Ramkrishna Forgings – Company has won an export order worth Rs 130 crore i.e. Euro 15 million from an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in a CIS country for the period of 3 years. 

Thomas Cook India – The company has announced the 7th edition of the Grand Indian Holiday Sale & Super Holiday Sale Strategically timed to accelerate demand for India’s Festive Season opportunity 

Caplin Point Laboratories – Caplin Steriles Limited (Caplin), a subsidiary of Caplin Point Laboratories Limited, has been granted final approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for its Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) Labetalol Hydrochloride Injection USP, 100 mg/20 mL (5 mg/mL) and 200 mg/40 mL (5 mg/mL) Multiple-dose Vials, a generic therapeutic equivalent version of (RLD), TRANDATE Injection, of Sebela Ireland Limited. 

Vidhi Specialty Food Ingredients - The company has set up a 2 MW Solar Power Plant at their facility in Akola, Maharashtra. 100 per cent of electricity generated through the solar power plant shall be utilized for captive use. The project will support the company’s green energy requirements for its manufacturing units. Solar plant commissioned will help the company in significant cost savings and operational efficiencies which will aid to margin expansion in the long run. The total cost of the project is approximately Rs 9 crore which has been fully funded by internal accruals.  

PSP Projects – The company has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) for projects worth Rs 132.57 crore (excluding GST) towards the Industrial and Precast segment from different clients in Gujarat. 

52-week High Stocks – Alphageo India, Goldiam International, VRL Logistics, Neogen Chemicals, BLS International and Info Edge (India) have made a fresh 52-week high today. These stocks will likely be in focus Thursday, 9 September 2021.
