Nemish Shah earned a B.Com. from Lala Lajpat Rai College, Mumbai University in 1977. He is the co-founder of ENAM, a standout amongst the most reputed and respectable venture houses in India. He, alongside with the co-founders, constructed ENAM adhering to investment research as its backbone. He is very well known in the investment circles and his investment perspectives are profoundly sought after.
For more than thirty years, Shah alongside his fellow benefactor, Vallabh Bhanshali, also a highly respected individual in the financial markets with a philanthropic inclination, and his partners, has led ENAM in its growth into a leading financial advisory institution in the country.
Shah is also a devoted philanthropist. He started Foundation for Liberal and Management Education (FLAME), a non-profit organization established in 2004, with an objective to create and build an excellent institution of higher learning that is grounded in Indian values.
Investment Philosophy
His philosophy is very much like Warren Buffett, who championed investing in firms that benefit from growing consumption. He employs a fundamental bottom-up research approach to identify high-quality businesses, that are structurally well-positioned, have sustainable competitive advantages and execution capability for consistent long-term growth.
