Indigo gets first direct flight on Delhi-Riyadh route
InterGlobe Aviation informed the exchanges that IndiGo has commenced operations to Riyadh, capital of Saudi Arabia. The shares of the company gained during early trading session on Monday, hitting an intraday high of Rs. 1,764.00, rising around 1 per cent in BSE.
The airline inaugurated the first direct flight on Delhi-Riyadh route, making Riyadh IndiGo's 2nd destination in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, after the launch of Jeddah earlier this year. These new flights are intended to cater to business and leisure travellers who constantly are on the lookout for new and affordable flying options.
InterGlobe Aviation provides air transportation services in India and internationally. The company primarily operates IndiGo passenger airline.
The shares of Indigo on Monday opened at Rs. 1749.00 as against Friday’s close of Rs. 1748.20. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs. 1764.00 and intraday low was Rs. 1740.00. Its 52-week high was Rs. 1,911.00 and 52-week low was Rs. 755.00 per share on the BSE. At 11:36 hours, the stock was trading at Rs. 1769.00, up by 1.19 per cent.
