Overnight Digest: Stocks to watch out for on October 13

On Tuesday, benchmark indices ended in green for the fourth consecutive session despite the volatility. At close, the Sensex advanced 148.53 points or 0.25 per cent and Nifty rose 46 points or 0.26 per cent. About 1664 shares have advanced, 1483 shares declined, and 115 shares are unchanged.

The global markets traded cautiously with fears of rising inflation due to rising commodity prices and energy crunch. Selling in IT stocks due to weak earnings and caution hovering in global markets, dampened the hopes in domestic markets but with the strong support from PSU Banks and buying interest in consumer goods, metals and auto indices, the benchmark indices managed to end in green.

Titan, Bajaj Auto, SBI, Bajaj Finserv and Nestle India were the top gaining stocks among Sensex, whereas HCL technologies, Tech Mahindra, Ultra Tech Cement, TCS and M&M were the top losers.

These stocks are likely to be on the watchlist for Wednesday's trading session:

Radico Khaitan - The stock has rallied up to 14.58 per cent and made a fresh 52-week high in Tuesday's trading session. On Monday, the company announced the launch of two new luxury products in the brown and white spirit categories. The stock has witnessed bullish sentiments in Tuesday's trading session and is likely to be in focus on Wednesday.
