Overnight digest: Stocks to watch out on July 12

RattanIndia Enterprises: RattanIndia’s Revolt Motors starts the latest batch of EV bike deliveries after a good response to bookings.

JSW Energy: Karcham Wangtoo Hydro Electric Power Plant owned by JSW Hydro Energy Limited (100 per cent subsidiary of the company), on receipt of the necessary statutory approvals, completed the trial run for 1,045 MW on July 8, 2021, and commenced commercial operation. This capacity uprating is a significant boost to the earnings potential of this key asset of JSW Energy Limited.

Unichem Laboratories: The company has received tentative approval for ANDA of Sitagliptin tablets USP, 25 mg, 50 mg & 100 mg from United States Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) for a generic version of Januvia® (sitagliptin) tablets, 25 mg, 50 mg & 100 mg of Merck Sharpe & Dohme Corp (Merck).

Salzer Electronics: The company executed a joint venture agreement with Kostad Steuerungsbau GmbH. The parties have entered into joint venture agreement to form a JV company for undertaking the business of manufacture and sale of EV charging stations & chargers. Salzer Kostad EV Chargers Pvt Ltd will be this JV company.

Maruti Suzuki India: Customers of Maruti can now finance their cars online, anywhere and anytime, with Maruti Suzuki Smart Finance.

Ugar Sugar: The company has decided to set up a 200 KLPD distillery at its Ugar Plant at Ugar Khurd.

Dhanuka Agritech: The company has launched a new product called Tornado. This product will provide a comprehensive solution for weeds in oilseed crops.

Avenue Supermarts: The total revenue for the quarter ended June 30, 2021 stood at Rs 5,032 crore, as compared to Rs 3,833 crore in the same period last year. Net Profit is at Rs 115 crore for Q1 FY22, as compared to Rs 50 crore in the corresponding quarter of last year. PAT margin stood at 2.3 per cent in Q1 FY22 as compared to 1.3 per cent in Q1 FY21. Interestingly, despite lesser hours of operations this time, more customer footfalls were seen than in the same period last year and this has translated into higher sales.
