Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Monday with the Sensex up 1.27 per cent at 80,218 and the Nifty-50 up 1.20 per cent at 24,329. About 1,964 shares have advanced, 2,031 shares have declined and 184 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.
The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 1.34 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.39 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd, Go Digit General Insurance Ltd and Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Paras Defence Technologies Ltd, Garden Reach Shipbuilders Ltd and Mishra Dhatu Nigam Ltd.
On the sectoral front, the indices traded mixed with the BSE Energy Index and BSE Oil & Gas Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE IT Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Losers.
As of April 28, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.26 lakh crore or USD 6 trillion. On the same day, 75 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 50 stocks touched a 52-week low.
