Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

On the sectoral front, the indices traded mixed with the BSE Metals Index and BSE Auto Index were the top gainers while the BSE FMCG Index and BSE Healthcare Index were the top losers.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Wednesday with the Sensex up 0.13 per cent at 80,747 and the Nifty-50 up 0.14 per cent at 24,414. About 2,206 shares have advanced, 1,687 shares have declined and 157 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 1.36 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.16 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Endurance Technologies Ltd, One 97 Communications Ltd (PAYTM) and Piramal Enterprises Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Aarti Drugs Ltd, Timex Group India Ltd and S P Apparels Ltd.

As of May 07, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.23 lakh crore or USD 5.01 trillion. On the same day, 61 stocks hit a 52-week high while 138 stocks touched a 52-week low.
