These power stocks zoomed more than 2 per cent on receiving new orders; do you own them?

The shares of JMC Projects (India) zoomed 2.69 per cent at the end of today's trading session whereas the shares of Kalpataru Power Transmission rose 2.81 per cent towards the end of trading session.

Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL) and its subsidiary JMC Projects received an order worth Rs 3,567 crore at a consolidated level. The details of the order include:  

  • Orders in overseas markets in the T&D business   
  • Water Projects in India   
  • Order for Oil & Gas Pipeline Works in India   
  • B&F Projects in India   
  • Order for Railway works in India  

From the project of Rs 3,567 crore, JMC Ltd, received new orders of Rs 2,277 crore. The details of JWC Ltd are as follows:-  

  • Water Projects in India of Rs 1,497 crore.  
  • B&F projects in India of Rs 780 crore.  

Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (KPTL) is one of the largest EPC companies specializing in power transmission and distribution, oil and gas pipelines, railways and civil infrastructure. JMC Projects Limited, a subsidiary of KPTL, is one of the world's leading civil and infrastructure projects.  

The shares of JMC Projects (India) zoomed 2.69 per cent at the end of today's trading session whereas the shares of Kalpataru Power Transmission rose 2.81 per cent towards the end of trading session.
