Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 6.69 points or 0.01 per cent.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.01 per cent, power zoomed by 0.09 per cent, and auto surged by 0.13 per cent.

Meanwhile, Century Plyboards (India) Ltd, KIOCL Ltd and Piramal Enterprises Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

Century Plyboards (India) Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.28 per cent to trade at Rs 784.15 apiece.

KIOCL Ltd, an S&P BSE company, rose 4.87 per cent to trade at Rs 294.90 apiece.

Piramal Enterprises Ltd, an S&P BSE company, advanced 4.59 per cent to trade at Rs 1,148.95 apiece.
