Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 30.89 points or 0.04 per cent.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.25 per cent, power zoomed by 0.26 per cent, and auto surged by 0.17 per cent.

Meanwhile, Alembic Pharmaceuticals Ltd, SBFC Finance Ltd, and Metro Brands Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

SBFC Finance Ltd, an S&P BSE company, gained 4.27 per cent to trade at Rs 111.15 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

Metro Brands Ltd, an S&P BSE company, rose 3.23 per cent to trade at Rs 1,172.75 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
