920 per cent dividend announced: do you have this stock in your portfolio?

The shares of the company grew by more than 4 per cent today.

On April 27, 2023, Swaraj Engines Limited announced its quarterly and annual results for the year ended March 31, 2023. The revenue of the company for Q4FY23, stood at Rs 359.79 crore which grew by 48.46 per cent YoY. The operating profit of the company stood at Rs 51.68, growing 54.78 per cent YoY while the PAT of the company grew by 59.93 per cent YoY staying at Rs 34.96 crore. 

Today, the board of the company recommended a dividend of Rs 92.00 per equity share with a face value of Rs 10.00 each, for the financial year ended March 31, 2023. The company also informed that share transfer books of the company will remain closed from Saturday, 8th July 2023 to Friday, 14th July 2023 (both days inclusive) to determine the Members eligible to receive the dividend, if declared by the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting (AGM). The dividend, if declared at the AGM, will be paid within a week from the conclusion of the AGM.  

Today, the stock of Swaraj Engines Limited opened at Rs 1691.95, with a high and low of Rs 1755.00 and Rs 1690.90, respectively. The stock closed trading at Rs 1739.55, up by 4.52 per cent. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 1960 and a 52-week low of Rs 1395.65.
