This company receives its single biggest order worth Rs 26,000 crore!

Siemens Ltd informed the exchange that it has received an order worth Rs 26,000 crore for a locomotive project in India. This order made history for the company because it was the single biggest order received by Siemens Ltd in India.
The deal comprises 35 years of full-service maintenance in addition to the design, construction, commissioning and testing of 1,200 electric locomotives over an 11-year period. The locomotives will be assembled in the Indian Railways factory in Dahod, Gujarat.
Today, shares of Siemens Ltd surged 3.68 per cent to the day’s high of Rs 3,051.80 per share from its previous closing of Rs 2,943.60. At 03:30 pm, the shares of the company ended the day positive, up 0.02 per cent to Rs 2,944.10 per share.

Talking about the financials, Siemens has a market cap of Rs 1,04,845.36 crore. According to the quarterly consolidated and full-year consolidated financial statements, the firm reported fantastic results. Net sales and net profit increased in Q2FY23 compared to Q2FY22 by 11.58 per cent and 103.84 per cent, respectively. In comparison to FY21, net sales and net profit increased in FY22 by 22.27 per cent and 41.72 per cent, respectively. Investors should keep an eye on this Large-Cap stock.
